When everybirdy runs away the moment Mrs. P opens the violin case, Itchy stays and listens. Itchy is such a Mrs. P's pet!

You think Itchy really likes Bach? Chirp Chirp Chirp! Of course not!

Mrs. P, please play this piece by Bach. Uh huh. I bet you if you ask Itchy who Bach is, all Itchy can say is Chirp!

Birdie news flash: I gave birth to 2 eggs and Itchy or Scratchy gave birth to 3 eggs and none of them hatched...well..I guess that's not news....ok, real news flash...Itchy & Scratchy are not buddy buddy anymore. Scratchy screwed up Itchy's tail and in return Itchy gave Scratchy a black eye. Poor Scratchy, I hope she feels better. Chaos!

OK, today's question is, are you flexible? Looky here...I'm doing a birdy split.

This is what you call birdy flexible!

Oh Oh, here I go again!
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Being flexible is important...don't ask me why, I don't know...I just know that it is...go ask Mrs. P why...

Start stretching..and soon, you can be just as flexible as me! OK, ...gotta go brush my beak and go to bed. Good nighty!

It's so comfortable, I can almost sleep in here..but...oh..can someone tell Mr. P to put on some deoderant? It'll make the experience more pleasant!

Mr. P is always telling Mrs. P that she's got black thumbs. Everytime Mrs. P wanted to buy a plant, Mr. P would say, "poor plant, it's gonna DIE !" And well, you know, always birdy discouraged her from buying any plants. Well, you know what? Bawg bawg bawg, it's an evil scheme! Mr. P killed one of Mrs. P's plant recently. Yup, I saw it. I witnessed it. Mr. P's a plant killer. He broke the branch in half and left it to die! Mrs. P's thumbs are not black, Mr's P's thumbs are! I'm gonna bite it next time it's close to me. Poor Juls, I hope you grow a new branch. Maybe that's why, alex the plant died. Alrighty, time for a birdy bath. Ciao!

What is Mrs. P up to? She is walking around the house with this book about birds of Amercia? What, are we birdies not cute enough for her that she has to go on birding trips? Not only that, this book got nothing on lovebirds. Yup, that is nope, zip, nada, and may-yuo - that's mandarin for nothing folks! One time Mrs. P let me out and I sat on her shoulder while she flipped through that book. There was nothing on it about me! I'm an american am I not? I was born in El Monte. Yup, last time i checked, El Monte is in California and California is in the United States and the United States is part of North America. My type deserved to be birdy mentioned in that book! I gotta call up the National Geographic!

Looks like Mr. P is making dinner tonight. Yup, you know what that means. If you know Mr. P like we birdies do, you know what they're having for dinner. It is either Green Bean Casserole, instant noodle, dumpling (the frozen type from the store or ready made type by granny Mrs. P), or pasta. Mr. P, learn to cook some new stuff man! How about something like Kung Pao Sunflower Seeds or Sweet & Sour Watermelon Seed eh? That would be birdy yummy!

Oh boy oh boy, Mrs. P calls a ladybug a bug! Can someone please tell Mrs. P that a ladybug is not a bug? Bugs are member of the insect order Hempiter, which is characterized by piercing-sucking mouthparts, having some sort of feathery and membranous forewings, and having to go through a gradual metamorphsis. Now ladybugs don't have any of the above characteristics or go through a change do they? So it is not a true bug! OK, let me share some interesting facts that all birdies like me know before I sign off blogger and jump into a bird bath. All bugs are insects but not all insects are bugs! Also, waterbugs, lightningbugs, and billbugs are not bugs either. A waterbug is actually a cockroach. Lightningbugs and billgubs are really beetles. Didn't know that did you? I'm such a wise little birdy aren't I? Until next time, Ciao!

Well hello Pon! Hey looky here everyone, Mr. P got Mrs. P a Pon for their 3 month aniversary!
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
But what is it anyways? Is a dog? Is a cat? Oh hey, I think it looks like me, see? Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I think it's a birdy! Oh hey Pon, look at me run!

Hmm...it's not alive..it didn't chase after me! :( Thought I got a new friend!

You know, one of the very first advice given to a new lovebird owner is to not feed your lovebird avocado and chocolate because a taste of either one will send the birdie to the other side of the rainbow. I have to say this list is not complete unless okra is added to it. OK OK, okra will not kill me like avocado and chocolate will, but it tastes so bad, it might as well be just as bad. No matter how nutitious Mr. P & Mrs. P say okra is (got lots of fiber, vitamin B6, and folic acid yada yada), I don't care and I don't want it. Like I care for folic acid, it's not like I'm gonna reproduce anytime soon with Mr. P's method of birdy birth control. Will someone tell Mr. P that dawg says no to okra and yes to broccoli (all types of broccoli - chinese broccoli, what have you) and yes to spinach. SLIMEY OKRA YUCK YUCK YUCK, alritey, gotta go and drink some birdie water to get rid of the okra after taste. Ciao!

Who do I love more? Mr. P or Mrs P? As an impartial birdie, I love Mrs. P more..hahahahaha..yes yes, I know what impartial means. OK fine, I'm a partial bird. I'm a smart bird after all. It's just that impartial sounds better. Anyhow, I love Mrs. P more because she really loves me, uh, I mean us birdies. She gives us filtered water and cuts us vegetables. Mr. P? He doesn't even cut fruit for himself. He just looks at it ..the other birdies think that Mr. P doesn' t know how to use a knife. Well, actually, Itchy's exact words were, "I think that Mr. P's afraid of the knife. Afraid he's gonna lose a finger or something." And then Scratchy and Diddy couldn't agree more. Well, we all know why Itchy came up w/ that theory. Oh for all of those who are concerned, Itchy's toes are doing fine now and even though Itchy only has 7 of them instead of 8, Itchy is just as fast as us. OK, back to Mr. P, I think he's just lazy, he just wants Mrs. P to cut fruit and stuff for him. So, ya, that's why if you ask me, umm, I mean us, we love Mrs. P more. Mr. P's nice and all and he vacuums our feathers everyday, we like him too, just not as much as Mrs. P. Oh, and sometimes we think that he's mad...he vacuums 9 to 10 times a day! Even when he's leaving the place, he's got to vacuum around our cages before he leaves. Our feathers don't attract ants you know. And I'm sure Mr. P knows that but why does he vacuum on his way out, and for whom? For us birdies? Mr. P is quite strange. Alrightly, it's way pass my birdy bedtime! OK, gotta go brush my beak and go to sleep. Good night!

Mr. P came up to us today and said to us, "all that birdy bath you gave yourself, it's not sufficient, I can smell you birds all the way from the front door, Imma make you all take birdy showers!" And lo and behold that's what he did! Well, if Mr. P gave us a better bird bath to bathe in, then he wouldn't have to do that. It was birdy scary! Can someone tell Mr. P how sorry I am that I bit him, cuz you know...I thought I was drowning under the faucet, I was just trying to hang on to my dear life w/ my beak! Thanks!
