One of our favorite activities on a hot summer day like today is taking baths. It is very refreshing. The only bad thing is that, the water we use for drinking is also our bath water...so if we take a bath early in the day, like Sratchy did today, we'll have to drink the dirty water. That was why Scratchy was banging her head on that blue concrete thing ...regretting that she jumped in her drinking water at the spur of the moment and forgetting that she'll be drinking dirty water for the rest of the day. Poor itchy. Good thing Diddy and I have our own water.

Can someone please convince Mr. P to give us a dedicated bath tub for the summer? The only reason he took it away from us was because he didn't want us to splash everywhere making the areas around the cage dirty. But it's summer!!! A feathery pal like me needs to cool down.

Mrs. P was in a chirpy mood when she came home today. Mr. P must have done something really nice for Mrs. P because she let me out and played with me! She even let me stood on her shoulder while she made Mr. P's favorite low-sodium beef stew. I asked Mr. P about it. He told me that during lunch today, he drove to Queen's noodle house and bought wonton soup and brought it to her work place for her. Wow, what a way to make up for yesterday's blunder. That was very sweet. Every bird should learn from Mr. P in this aspect.

This post is all about me! First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Dawg and I'm a peach face lovebird. They (my human friends) call me Dawg-a-bawg. My bird friends (Itchy, Scratchy, and Diddy), they call me the wise one because well, I'm a very smart bird. In human years, I'm 3 years old. But, I'm going by bird years, so I'm 21, so this means, I can go hang out w/ my human friend's friends, who call themselves the drunkles.
